Angular contact ball bearings, single row
Single-row angular contact ball bearings are provided with raceways in the inner and outer ring which are offset to each other towards the bearing axis and accept axial forces only in one direction. Under radial loads, a force, which acts in axial direction, is developed in the bearing which must be compensated by a counter-force. Thus the bearings are positioned against a second bearing. The contact angle α (also contact angle α) is 40° for bearings with suffix B and for bearings without suffix 20° and/or 30°. designates the angle which is enclosed by the connection line of the two contact points between ball and raceways with the radial place and under which the load is transmitted from one raceway to the other.
