Self-aligning ball bearings
The self-aligning ball bearing is a two-row bearing with two raceways at the inner ring and one common hollow-sphere raceway in the outer ring. Thus they can be moved angularly and are resistant if the shaft is in inclined position to the housing. They are suitable specifically for bearings for which higher shaft deflection and/or alignment errors have to be expected. Self-aligning ball bearings are available in designs with cylindrical and conical bore.
